A friend recently launched a web site, www.craftybrains.com where She happened to purchase one of our most popular decor items and transformed it from "pretty to beautiful." Below is her blog posting on Crafty Brains. The puffy frame is available in 2 sizes (square and rectangle) and 7 different colors (pink, purple, blue, black/white, slate, red and gecko green).

My sister-in-law ordered some very interesting “puffy” picture frames online for my nieces’ bedroom. It turned out she bought too many and didn’t have the space for all of them, so she gave me one. Of course, I gladly accepted!
The frames looked great in her house, but I thought I could add something different to go more with my décor.
So on my way back home I started to envision how the frame would look on the wall, and which picture I would use…Right then and there my new project was born!
It occurred to me that all I needed to spice it up was to add a little “bling”. Just as the saying goes, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”, well, in my case, “Rhinestones are MY best friends”. So I dug into my collection of rhinestones, and began to sew and sew, until I got the look that I had perceived in my mind.
The photo I chose of my daughter Ella is one my favorites because she looks so innocent, yet wise at the same time.
She seems to be staring ahead towards the future.
A friend who saw me working on the frame asked me what made me want to transform things that didn’t appear to need changing, and why create something without a special purpose in mind. Well, I told her that my philosophy is “Why be happy with ‘good’ when you can have ‘amazing’?” I could not settle for less knowing that all it would take is an extra step to achieve what I was visualizing in my mind…
